Position Summary:
The Sunday School Teacher plays a vital role in the spiritual education of ward members by teaching gospel-centered lessons that uplift and inspire. Guided by Church-provided curriculum and direction from Sunday School leadership, the teacher fosters an environment of learning, discussion, and testimony-building. With a love for the scriptures and a commitment to helping others grow in their understanding of the gospel, the Sunday School Teacher encourages active participation and consistent attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Doctrinally Sound Lessons: Prepare and teach Sunday School classes using the approved curriculum and guidance from the Sunday School presidency.
• Invite Participation: Personally encourage ward members to attend Sunday School regularly, fostering a sense of belonging and spiritual enrichment.
• Coordinate with Leaders: Communicate with the Sunday School presidency for support, feedback, and alignment with ward teaching goals.
